7 1/2" (19 cm.) All-carved wood with smooth torso, applied cloth poodle ruff and ears, large brown glass eyes, open mouth, painted teeth, jointed plain legs, rope tail. Condition: very good, ruff is worn. Comments: Schoenhut, Style I of the poodles, was one of the first circus animals made, circa 1905. Value Points: rare circus figure with glass eyes and original ruff, included is wooden balancing stool.
