11" (28 cm.) h. when closed. The mahogany furniture which appears as though a desk when closed,opens to reveal itself as a toilette table with oval mirror at the back,white marble top,and three lower drawers,with beaded decorations and ebony drawer pulls. Included is a porcelain toilette set with blue and red border accents,comprising washbowl and pitcher,bucket,chamber pot,soap dish and two small trays. Excellent condition. French,circa 1880.
