The paper-covered wooden box with lettered label "Papeterie" on the lid, hinges open to reveal fitted interior, with changeable calendar on the inside lid, and various envelopes, stationery, blotter, inkwells, and such, and notable with a revolving globe with wooden pedestal. Very good condition. French, signed N.K. Atlas, for Nicolas & Keller, manufacturers of parlor games and playthings such as this writing set, circa 1900.
