14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with slender facial shape depicting an adult man, cut pate but also having painted sideburns, painted facial features, blue eyes, elongated nose, sculpted moustache partially hiding the closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden jointed body, antique gentleman's costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Damerval & Laffranchy, circa 1915, the company was a pivotal aspect of the Renaissance of the French doll movement of that era.
