Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, large blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French wooden poupee body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, and swivel-jointing at waist, wearing beautiful antique white muslin and lace gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1870. Value Points: unusual and compelling modeling with very large dramatic eyes, beautiful bisque, original wig, rarer wooden body with extra articulations.
