9" (23 cm.) Each has carved wooden head with defined facial features and hair, tinted facial details, firmly-stuffed body with wooden hands; the boy wearing grey silk tunic with dark grey sleeveless jacket with cord trim, grey trousers; and the girl with exceptional carved side coiled braids and with shadowed and stippled detail, and having piquant smiling expression, wearing original coral silk jacket with handmade rick-rack trim, trousers. Condition: generally excellent, missing slippers. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1910. Value Points: very rare model of girl with exceptional hair style and great expression.
