17" (43 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead of adult lady with oval face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair drawn from face with stippled feathering at sides of forehead, wide pouf wings at each side of head, and tight braids from center crown into wide rolled curls which eventually form into ringlet curls onto her shoulders, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, old muslin body, porcelain lower arms, antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: very rare and intricately-formed coiffure.
