13" (33 cm.) l. shoe. Rising in a wooden shoe with decorative border and spoked metal wheels, are two solid dome bisque socket head googlies, each with painted hair and facial features, paper-mache bodies with painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: P 12 (Goebel mark) Germany (girl with red bow); 9143 Heubach (square) Germany (topknot girl). Comments: dolls by Goebel and Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderfully amusing vignette with rare pull toy, with Heubach googly with wide googly eyes and triangular-shaped mouth, topknot , patterned cotton dress; and side-glancing googly with red hair band and bow, smiling expression, cotton dress.
