Description
12" (30 cm.) Each has carved wooden head with black painted hair having detail of narrow coiled braid around the pate edges, carved and tinted facial features, muslin torso, carved wooden lower arms and legs with bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1920. Value Points: each is well-preserved, the rare models wearing original cotton tunic and pants with roll-up cuffs, under woven skirt and cape with tie strings, and with woven hats having unusual variant design of brims.
