13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, original muslin body with bisque lower arms and bisque lower legs with painted stockings and black three-lace heeled ankle boots, nicely costumed in antique dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 3 903. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model of early closed mouth doll with endearing expression, appealing petite size. Provenance: Legoland Museum.
