The walnut chair with an elaborately-carved back and arms, and with carved back rest, is posed upon a pedestal base with five spindled legs and four carved feet, and has a hidden swivel attachment below the seat, allowing the chair to be used in classic office swivel manner. Excellent condition. Late 1800s, the quality of craftsmanship suggests the chair was designed as a salesman's sample.
