16" (41 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head, inset blue/grey eyes with richly-spiral-threaded eyes, dark eyeliner, short painted lashes, delicately-blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, small chip on center crown rim with emanating 1 1/4" hairline.. Comments: Emile Jumeau, his earliest period bebe, 1877. Value Points: gorgeous face enhanced by finest quality of bisque, complexion and painting, superb eyes, original lambswool wig, original body and body finish.
