11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, accent dot at center of bottom lip, four porcelain teeth, impressed dimples in cheeks and chin, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1279 dep Germany 3 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: rare model especially in this petite size, with wonderful modeling and bisque, original body and body finish, great antique sailor costume and cap lettered "Verdun", original shoes and socks.
