15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate, Dehors neck articulation allowing head to tilt side to side and forward as well as swivel, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig captured in woven snood, wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, wrists, hips and knees, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, attributed to Alexandre Dehors, circa 1867. Value Points: rarity factors include Dehors neck articulation, wooden body, bisque arms, lovely antique costume.
