Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue shaded eyes with white eyedots, black upper eyeliner with fringed upper lashes, lightly feathered brows accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 182 (head) Excelsior (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: fine quality of bisque and painting on the solemn-faced child.
