9" (23 cm) All cloth doll with firmly-pressed oil-painted face, shaped nose, artistic painting of facial features, blonde human hair, all muslin body with red muslin stockings, and black sewn-on shoes, antique country costume. Condition: generally excellent, a bit dusty, gown frail. Comments: the doll was featured in Estrid Faurholt's Book of Dolls and Dollhouses, described as a "funny little person … circa 1860" and later acquired by the Legoland Museum. Included is a walnut cutwork carved chair.
