17" (43 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with very chubby face, sculpted short brown hair in curly bobbed fashion decorated with blue hair band with rosettes, painted pale blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, brush-stroked and short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, composition five-piece toddler body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 38 1358. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare model with most expressive features including deeply impressed cheek dimples and defined brush marks in hair that is enhanced by decorative glaze, stylish blue hair bows.
