12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, Sonneberg, circa 1885. Value Points: very distinctive facial model with artistic painting on the rare model.
