15" (38 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head, pale blue glass enamel eyes with spiral threading, painted lashes, accented eye and nostrils, closed mouth, accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed in magenta silk dress and bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent, nose tip rub, original body finish with some scuffing. Marks: 6. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: sweet expression on the early bebe with lovely eyes, good antique costume.
