Description
5" (13 cm.) x 4". An oval painting of a woman in semi-profile is centered in a very elaborate gilt ormolu frame; the woman with tumbling locks of light brown hair, piquant smile, blue side-glancing eyes to match the blue of her low-bodice gown, and pearl coronet, earrings, and triple strand pearl necklace with center brooch. Excellent condition. French, circa 1840.
