8" (20 cm.) figures. 10"-11" overall. Each is a carved wooden head with highly-characterized features and hair, some with beards and hats, and each with glass eyes, each attached to shapely miniaturized torso. Condition: heads excellent with nose flakes on two, bodies are missing various limbs. Comments: Germany, late 1800s. Value Points: fabulous set of carved glass-eyes figures with exceptional detail of imaginative carving and expressions.
