16" (41 cm.) Composition shoulder head, bald pate with sculpted curls across the forehead, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted short lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils of rounded nose, open mouth, two upper teeth, firmly-stuffed muslin torso and legs, stitch-jointing at hips, composition jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Paris 281 71 Unis France 149. Comments: SFBJ, Unis France epoch, 1920s. Value Points: very rare model with superb sculpting, especially of impressed laughter lines and dimples on cheeks, fine original finish, wearing original swaddling costume and presentation bunting with cutwork trim.
