Description

12" church. Each is formed of wood with heavy card-paper roofs and gables, and wooden chimneys, and each is hand-painted in wonderful detail to define brick or wooden exteriors, windows, and other architectural details. Many of the pieces are village stores and the store name is lettered on the front in minute script; the double steepled church features painted "stained glass" windows and the door painted as though open and welcoming; the town hall has a painted automaton figure; and the tavern has dimensional portico, fancy façade and side tower. Each building is different and the details are exceptional and endless. 23 buildings plus a few extras, each piece is pencil script numbered on the inside so proper placement can be arranged. Excellent condition of the rare and detailed set.
