46" (117 cm.) A wooden four-panel folding screen is finished of all sides with red leather and decorated with lavish decoupage scrap of Victorian ladies, children and theatrical personalities. The screen is overall varnished, and brass studs edge the sides. Likely one-of-a-kind decoration in the genre of 19th century scrapbooks, the screen is well-preserved and appealing. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890.
