25" (64 cm.) Paper mache solid domed head with flanged neck, sculpted curly locks, blue glass eyes, short painted lashes, open mouth, two upper teeth, tongue, firmly-stuffed muslin body with stitch-jointing at hips and shoulders, composition hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 SFBJ 263 Paris. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1918. Value Points: very rare model with wonderful detail of hair sculpting, fine original condition, wearing original dotted Swiss dress, undergarments, and cap. Included with the doll are two additional 263 head models (as is condition), one of untinted bisque, and one of painted bisque, providing a wonderful study group.
