Description
5" (13 cm.) baby, 8" carriage. The one-piece all-bisque baby with painted hair and facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet, is wearing fine antique baby gown with lace detail and ruffled bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, carriage lacking sunshade. Comments: Germany, circa 1910. Value Points: the beautifully costumed baby is preserved in painted tin carriage by Maerklin with cream and rose finish, gilt garland accents, double-spoked wheels and wooden hand grip.
