23" (59 cm.) The wood-framed dressing table with attached mirror under a demi-lune canopy top is lavishly covered in aqua silk faille that is printed with tiny rose buds,edged with aqua velvet cording,and accented with embroidered lace drapes,ruffles and mirror-frame overlay; aqua silk bows and an ormolu applique lend final accents. Included is a porcelain wash set which is also patterned with tiny rosebuds. Excellent wonderfully-preserved condition. French,circa 1875,a rare luxury furnishing with outstanding detail.
