14" (36 cm.) Standing upon a wooden platform with spoked wheels is a bisque swivel-head lady with bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,un-pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,block torso and legs with painted shoes,wire upper arms,wooden hands. When pulled along,the lady turns her head side-to-side and waves the butterfly net. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: head by Simon and Halbig for the French market,circa 1875. Value Points: dainty luxury toy,the beautiful doll wears her completely-original costume of silks and velvets,carries basket of flowers,wooden storage box,and charming activity.
