Bisque socket head with incised age wrinkles and furrowed brows, black glass enamel inset eyes, long hook nose, closed mouth, high cheekbones, thickly painted brows, white mohair wig, moustache, and long flowing wig, five-piece paper mache body, painted boots, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: X Old Rip 15/0. Comments: Dressel, circa 1890. Value Points: rare character storybook figure with distinctively sculpted features, original wig, beard, and costume.
