9" (23 cm.) The one-piece bisque figure depicts a little brown-haired child with tumbling smock seated in her high chair, her doll resting on the food tray while the girl tries to feed toast to the doll; the doll is characteristic of the 1850 era having sculpted hair in topknot, well-detailed costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (blue anchor stamp on base). Comments: Circa 1850. Value Points: exceptionally fine detail of sculpting and painting of costume and decorative accessories.
