13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted brown hair with stippled details, brown glass inset eyes, brown single stroke brows, painted curly lashes, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with smiling expression, outlined lips, row of sculpted teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 227. Comments: German production of SFBJ model 227 for the French market, circa 1920. Value Points: very fine quality of sculpting on the cheerful-featured character.
