32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted long curly lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume including fine silk dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 80. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model marketed as "Mein Liebling" (my darling) was a transitional style between the art character dolls and the pretty dolly face models. Value Points: the largest size made of the model, considered a top luxury doll of the complete K*R line, is enhanced by beautiful presence, choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, original wig.
