10" (25 cm.) Porcelain swivel head on porcelain shoulder plate, painted short brown boyish hair with tendrils around the forehead, sculpted ears, painted facial features, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brown brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pert smile, muslin upper arms, midriff and upper legs, porcelain lower arms, hands, lower torso, and lower legs and feet, "mama" bellows in torso. Condition: generally excellent except fine restoration to back shoulderplate. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: rarity factors include body style, brown hair, unusual size, along with wonderful expression.
