15 1/2" (39 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump cheeks and chin, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with painted row of teeth between the outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed early body with loose ball joints at shoulders and elbows, straight wrists, and rare jointed ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882, the model was inspired by Bru's circle/dot bebe which it closely resembles. Value Points: beautiful doll with fine bisque, complexion, rare painted teeth, rare jointed ankles on original body with original finish.
