28"h. x 17"l. cradle. 10" doll. A painted white metal swinging cradle with attached canopy top is beautifully fitted with generous linens, curtains, and pillows. Inside is resting an early paper mache taufling baby with loosely jointed ankles and wrists, swivel head with black enamel eyes and closed mouth, original bellows (sometimes working) in torso and lovely antique gown. Condition: cradle excellent, doll very good, original finish with typical scuffing. Comments: circa 1870.
