Description
8" (20 cm.) Including Romeo with red caracul wig and Juliet with tosca hair gathered into an elaborate arrangement of curls at her crown and with cascading curls onto her back torso, each with straight-leg walking-style body. Romeo is wearing purple knit body suit under black felt jacket with pagoda sleeves, trimmed with gilt metallic braid and medallion, purple cap with pink feather, gilt boots; and Juliet is wearing ivory satin brocade floor-length gown with magenta velvet yoke and matching long-sleeved coat, panties, gold tie shoes, and elaborate coronet. Each costume is tagged Alexander-Kins. Near mint condition, Alexander, 1955. Models #473 and #474, inspired by the United Artist film release of that year, superb original condition with rosy cheeks, vibrant costumes.
