23" (58 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with plump rounded face, strong throat, black sculpted hair in center-part with soft curls at each side of forehead and then waved behind the ears, deeply-defined large eye sockets with painted brown eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, painted lower lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with piquant smile, muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare brown-eyed model with exceptional detail of modeling, especially of eyes and lips.
