Description
6" (15 cm.) A round wooden table top covered with rich dark blue velvet,edged with brass-plated studs and long blue fringe,rests upon a gilt metal pedestal and tripod base with spiral-shaped legs and bottom-brace. The table is marked "Maison Huret no.22 Boulevard Montmartre Paris" on the underside. Maison Huret,the parent firm of Adelaide Huret of poupee fame,created people-sized furniture as well as this poupee-sized variation which is preserved here in fine original condition. Circa 1865.
