Description
9" (23 cm.) Of carved bone, the triptych features an architectural alcove with Gothic style steepled roof and pointed finials with center figure of woman with clasped hands. The triptych hinges open at the sides to reveal two kneeling figures, and at the center of the woman's skirt to reveal a five-figure dynamic scene. The triptych is preserved under a glass dome on base. Excellent condition. Early 1800s, an important work of art with exquisite details.
