Description
Of lustrous soft golden velvet,the two-piece gown features a bodice with fitted yoke and blouson effect at the waist,long narrow sleeves with wing cap at the elbows and a vertical velvet drape at the shoulders that extends around the back appeared as a shawl,gore-shaped skirt with demi-train. The gown is richly decorated with applique cream lace at the yoke,applique black lace on the lower sleeves,black velvet neckline and sash,and with V-shaped inserts of black lace at the hem below embroidered fleur-de-lis designs. French,circa 1890. To fit lady doll about 20". 4" shoulder width. 16" overall length.
