Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair waved away from face and partially covering ears, wide pouf wings at the sides forming into a tightly-coiled braided chignon at the back, painted brown upper glancing eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke black brows, circle accents at nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, commercial muslin stitch-jointed body with leather upper arms and porcelain lower arms and hands, beautiful antique royal blue silk costume. Condition: generally excellent, restoration to the hands. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: grand size allows fine definition of sculpting enhanced by exquisite feathered painting of hair around the forehead, rarer brown eyes, pink-tinted complexion.
