25" (64 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with oval face and elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair with double thick braids at the crown and looped behind the ears, fully scupted pierced ears, painted facial features, blue upper-glancing eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted black velvet choker with blue and white pendant stone, sculpted bodice with well-detailed ruffle and lace trimmed with magenta ribbons, muslin stitch-jointed body with leather arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Alt, Beck, and Gottschalk, circa 1870. Value Points: the rare coiffure is enhaned by two tiny well-defined spit curls at center forehead, with rare sculpted jewelry and bodice.
