Description
8" (20 cm.) Wooden carved man, two-part head, painted blue eyes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, brown painted hair, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: very good, original finish with some paint flakes on hair, costume very dusty. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1909, from Teddy’s Adventures in Africa series, depicting Kermit, Teddy’s son. Value Points: rare character from the set is wearing original costume and has original wooden yellow helmet and camera, with extra articulation at knees and elbows.
