18" (46 cm.) Brown-complexioned bisque socket head, brown glass side-glancing eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, black brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth with very full lips, two porcelain upper teeth, black fleecy wig, brown composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 252 SQ (intertwined) Germany 46. Comments: Schuetzmeister and Quendt, circa 1918. Value Points: wonderful and distinctive characterization, excellent bisque and painting of the rare character.
