Description
12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket which accommodates to dowel protruding front torso, blue glass inset eyes, red eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, paper mache body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted white stockings and high laced heeled boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1880, maker unknown. Value Points: rare construction with flat-cut neck socket to fit with matching torso, pretty doll with excellent quality of bisque.
