Description
8" (20 cm.) Seated atop a cast iron organ is a monkey with a donation plate held in its right arm, and his cap held in his left hand. Posed on either side are a dancing cat and dog which revolve while chimes play when the handle is turned at the side; the monkey receives donations on his extended plate, drops the coin in the slot, and tips his hat in thanks. Generally excellent, complete and with original paint albeit somewhat faded. American, c. 1882. Kyser & Rex of Pennsylvania, from their original patent.
