Description
12" (30 cm.) One piece all-bisque figure of young child with sculpted hair and facial features seated in an over-sized shoe and attempting to lace it closed. The baby has sculpted tousled night shirt and the open-topped shoe has a large hole in the toe through which the baby's feet are peeking. Condition: generally excellent, two toes have small flakes on underside. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model in grand size with superb detail of sculpting on face, hair and costume.
