7" (18 cm.) The one-piece porcelain vignette depicts a young bonneted child seated on cushion, her hands resting on the heads of her two young friends. The figurine is notable for the quality of its painting of features, hair with stippled details, and costume variations (compare to smaller version of this mold, #244). Excellent condition, the vignette may originally have been an inkwell cover. Germany, mid-1800s.
