33" (84 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep and flirty eyes, dark eyeliner, ochre eye shadow, painted lower lashes, mohair lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette human hair ringlet-curled wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique silk dress, undergarments, stockings and original flat black shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish albeit extensive flaking on left arm. Marks: Unis France 71 149 306 Jumeau 1938 Paris (head) Princess (large impressed letters on back torso). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1938, the doll, representing Princess Elizabeth, was made by SFBJ upon the occasion of her visit to Paris as a young girl; the doll was issued in this large exhibition size in a very limited number, and is a smaller commercial size offered by Parisian department stores.
