Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with blonde hair in thickly waved center part style, brushed behind the fully sculpted pierced ears, with a multitude of arranged finger curls at the back and held by a black hair ribbon with side bow and beaded accents, blue outlined eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, brown single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted white ruffled shawl and black choker with red and blue pendant stone, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include elaborate coiffure and hair decorations, fancy bodice and jewelry.
